I only wish Margie didn`t catch me every time I jerked trying to set the hook and then ended up losing my bait. Catching the silvers was cool also. Looking forward to see you again in the future. |

Marge and Frank were so welcoming and friendly and were 100% focused on ensuring that we not only limited out but that we were having fun doing so. The wildlife we saw on our trip was so exciting, something we've never seen before. We booked this trip through the internet and were a little leary, but everything was exactly as Marge had said it would be, no worries! We look forward to fishing with Marge and Frank again. Thanks again for the wonderful experience and memories. | | | July 13, 2008 17:34:38 (GMT Time) |

We have such great memories of Sam working hard to put reel in those fish. You're the best and hope to one day return. Thanks for the memories and the fish!!! | | | July 8, 2008 12:21:46 (GMT Time) |
| Name: | Linsey and Deb Striclkland | | Email: | mtpiper{at}gci.net | Where are you from: | Juneau, Hamilton Montana | | Comments: | Our July Adventure with you both was something to keep in that special memory. Not only did we catch a limit in Halibut and troll up a salmon we were able to get some great photos of Puffins and nesting eagles. Your knowledge of that area and wildlife sites leads to a great photography opportunity as well as outstanding fishing. Best 4rth weekend ever! Smiles | | | July 8, 2008 03:31:15 (GMT Time) |
| Name: | Bob Connelly | | Email: | connellyj50{at}hotmail.com | Where are you from: | North Carolina | | Comments: | Our fishing trip was the highlight of my Alaska experience. Frank, you and Margie both are such nice, down to earth people, you made us feel like friends. It was thrilling to catch the big halibuts and great to have the story to tell when we got home. 600 lbs. of halibut in 3 hours. WOW!! Margie, the oatmeal/raisin cookies were great too! You need to send the recipe to my wife, Judy. Thanks for everything, hope to see you again someday. Bob Connelly | | | July 4, 2008 20:35:01 (GMT Time) |

It was the highlight of our trip. You guys treated us like old friends. Within minutes of dropping that first line, we were catching Halibut. What an experience. Wayne and I have not stopped talking about what wonderful people we met in Hoonah. Can't wait to come back and see you guys again. The Halibut came wednesday. We grilled a great fillet for Father's Day. What a treat. If you have any great Halibut recipes, send it our way. Wayne and Dede | | | June 16, 2008 02:06:11 (GMT Time) |
| Name: | Tim Kipp | | Email: | artikfl{at}aol.com | Where are you from: | Orlando, Florida | | Comments: | Capt. Frank and Admiral Margie, Thanks for being such wonderful hosts. When I tendered into Hoonah, I was hoping to at least get someone to take me out on the water. I could drop a line and at least say that I had been halibut fishing in Alaska. You two provided SO MUCH More!! Knowledge of the waters, great personalities, first fish on the boat 5 minutes after the first line went down (talk about knowing where to fish, I can hardly do that in my own ocean that I fish every weekend!!) 3 "Super Keeper sized" fish in 3 hours including the monster on your wall of fame http://www.dreamfishalaska.com/images/pict0489.jpg Added bonuses: Eagles everywhere, habor seals, porpoise, and Humpback whales. I am making my plans already for how to get back and spend some more time fishing in Hoonah with my new freinds. Hope to see you again Very soon, Tim | | | June 6, 2008 22:41:38 (GMT Time) |

| Where are you from: | Vancouver, BC | | Comments: | Capt. Frank Byrd and his lovely wife Margie are the best fishing guides in Alaska. We had a wonderful experience, especially since it was Reena's first time fishing. Frank took us to his secret triangle of Halibut and Reena was able to catch a decent size Halibut, while I was able to hook a sizable 25 pounder. We will be having fresh Halibut on our dinner tables for the next few weeks and will be reminiscing our great fishing trip with Frank and Margie. | | | August 20, 2007 19:39:09 (GMT Time) |
| Name: | The Krzeczowski Family | | Email: | kenkrz{at}yahoo.com | Where are you from: | Santa Cruz, CA | | Comments: | WOW – what a great experience. I felt like I was fishing with an old friend. Frank and Margie treated my two kids (8 and 12) my wife and I to a great personal experience. The goal was to catch Halibut and boy did we. After 2 hrs of our 4 our trip our arms were so tired from reeling in huge halibut that we asked to go look for Puffins and Bears. On our way back to the cruise trip we ran into some fellow passengers that only caught one fish in the same 4 hour period. They decided to book a fishing trip through the cruise – big mistake. Go with Frank! He’s the best. | | | August 16, 2007 19:27:44 (GMT Time) |

| Name: | Gary Catlett | | Email: | gary{at}IQLCORP.COM | Where are you from: | Louisville, KY | | Comments: | One of the main things we wanted to do while visiting Alaska was to catch halibut. Luckily, my wife and I were given great info and were directed to Captain Frank and Margie. We had a great time and caught many nice halibut. We could not have planned a better fishing experience and nicer people to share it with. We hope to visit Hoonah again soon and hookup with Captain Frank and Margie. | Name: | John Williams | | Email: | Grapeguy123{at}aol.com | Where are you from: | Near Benton City, WA | | Comments: | Capt. Frank and Admiral Marge are the greatest persons you would ever want to take you fishing (say catching). You will have to rest occasionally from reeling in the Halibut. (even though I didn't rest, they called me the fishing hog). The scenery is fabulous and you may see every sort of wildelife. It is hard to imagine Eagles as an endangered species when they are such a common site. I could go on and on about the experence, but the best thing would be for you to experience it yourself. You will not be dissapointed. For a comercial plug of my own visit Kionawine.com | | | June 26, 2007 02:13:32 (GMT Time) |
