Come enjoy the calm inland sea, of Southeast Alaska. We fish in Icy Strait and Port Frederick Sound out of Hoonah. This area literally swarms with fish, May thru September, with very few others fishing them. 2008 will be my seventh year of fishing these pristine and un-crowded waters. I lived and fished in Washington state for twenty years, I dreamed of fishing the inside waters of Alaska and catching these beautiful, sea bright salmon. Well now, I am living that dream and invite you to come and join me. |

| These are the dream fish! There are many, many to choose from waiting for you to come and experience them firsthand. It is extremely rare that we do not catch a fish! However, we cannot guarantee that the weather will always cooperate. On very windy days in Icy Strait we will fish inside at Port Frederick Sound (Safe trips only!) Thankfully, we rarely have to cancel a trip because of weather. We have (Depending on the timing of your trip) Kings, Silvers (Coho), Chum and Pink salmon. Ocean Bright and Full of Fight. There are halibut. Eight hour Salmon/Halibut combination trips can be arranged.(Check out our photo page) |
We have Great Halibut fishing all summer long. We have Halibut fishing as good as there is. There are Rockfish and Pacific Cod, and occassionally other fish too, (you never really know what you might reel up!) All this and no ocean swells. (I don't like to get seasick!)
